Excellent !

This is a classic fine hotel. The service was excellent. The rooms are spacious. The health club and spa are first rate. Lovely old world ambience. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful colonial Hotel !

Stayed here for a very pleasant 3 nights. This is a top class hotel with a very attentive staff, superb rooms.and excellent breakfasts. We also enjoyed drinks in the elephant bar. The hotel is a short tuk tuk ride from the eateries and bars of Phnom Penh. We found it very easy to negotiate with a tuk tuk driver at the hotel with regards to our trip to The Killing Fields , The Genocide Museum Russian Market etc. We would stay here again and recommend it.

Perfect! Planning another trip to Cambodia just so we can stay here again !

We had seen Le Royal's average reviews on Trip Advisor and expected a nice if mediocre 5 star hotel. However, we were blown away by the service, the lovely historic building, and our fantastic room. After three nights at Le Royal we now have brand loyalty to Raffles and want to visit other cities where the chain has hotels.
Rooms: We stayed in the main building in a regular king room. Although the room had all of the standard amenities, we were especially impressed by the antique touches: the balcony and a whole wall of latticed shuttered windows and also several sketches of Angkor and the flora and fauna of Cambodia. Our bathroom was spacious, spotless, and lovingly restored. We didn't used the claw-footed tub but enjoyed its aesthetic value.
The halls are scented with citronella, which makes for a very pleasant stroll from one's lobby to their room.
The breakfast featured a large selection of Khmer, Asian, and western foods and was perhaps the best we had during our 20 day trip through Vietnam and Cambodia.
The service was impeccable. The staff always referred to us by our name and dealt promptly with all of our requests.
We definitely hope that we can return to Phhnom Penh and stay here again.

Certainly one of the best places to stay in Phnom Penh. We were there for New's Year Eve. Amazing party at the pool!

Just book it- this hotel deserves all accorlades !

My wife and I stayed at the elegant Raffles hotel for 2 nights over Christmas and I have to say it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The rooms were clean and comfortable as you would expect from a 5 star hotel but it was really the quality of the staff and their courteous, prompt and efficient service that made this hotel a stand out among the many 5 star hotels that we have stayed in. Breakfast at the Raffles hotel was truly amazing due to its range of choices and quality. We cant wait to return to Phnom Penh which is a fantastic city and stay at the Raffles again.
