I like the hotel location. The tour group put us in this hotel after 1 night in Halong bay . We had a very big room with aircon + celing fan but the bathtub do not have shower screen which makes the floor wet & slippery after using it. It is conviently located of walking distance to the town area with shops and food nearby. The buffet breakfast is ok. Will considerably recommended.

Old hotel. Not very attractive. Mainly occupied by "Ha Long Bay"-tour travelers.

+ Nice hotel, wifi not working though !

We stayed here as part of the Halong bay Junk 3D 2N tour. We had read some bad reviews online before hand so were slightly dubious about staying here. However, the hotel is nice, very clean and provides relatively good service. We had a lovely seaview room. The hotel is very quiet so you'll get a really good sleep here, especially if on a higher floor.

Bad points:
WIFI WAS NOT WORKING during our stay (seems to be a common theme in Vietnam hotels)
Hot water did not immediately work, maintenance guy had to come and fix some electrical fault which took about 10 minutes.

Good points:
Food was part of our package and this was really nice.
Good atmosphere
Nice big reception area to chill out in.
Rooms have fridge and a safe and nice freebies like sewing kit, cotton buds etc.

Other than that, I can't really fault this hotel mainly as it was part of the tour price.

Saying that, the average room price of this hotel is $55 per night, you can find decent accomodation close by for much less than this. We were going to stay here an extra night but choose to go to another cheap hotel down the strip as we didn't think it would be worth $55 per night. Got cheap hotel for $12 close by.
