We were only in can tho for one night but this hotel was very good for the price. They had put plastic lilies in water floating in the tub and sink. Nice touch. Nice deco and breakfast is included. Can't sayuch about the location as we left again the next morning to vinh long. We preferred to organise the homestay in vinh long at cuu long tourist as this turned put cheaper than what the guy at the hotel offered.

We ended up at this hotel by mistake but were very pleased with what we found. For once, LP had it spot on - from the outside, it is just another skinny hotel, but on the inside, it's actually quite a swish place, within the context of the price.

As with all the skinny places, the cheapest rooms are internal, which weren't for us, but next up, at about $30/night inc (very good) breakfast, we got a large room at the front of the hotel with an enormous window that was great to gaze out of. Windows were double glazed, so there was no problem with the noise. Comfy bed, good shower (with a shower curtain, so no flooding of the bathroom) and cable TV.

The anticipated downside was that it's a bit out of town but the reality was that it was a five minute walk to the main drag, so no issue there. We also booked a boat trip on the Mekong through an agent that seems to work out of the hotel, which was fairly priced and really enjoyable. The hotel also booked our onward bus trip without commission or fuss.
