+ Amazing Hotel, brilliant location!

This hotel is beautiful and its well worth the efffort to book on the executive level floors so you can enjoy the free evening drinks and food. The free food buffet is huge and will easily fill you for dinner. You can drink any type of alcohol you like and you actually poor your own drinks from the bar in the executive lounge. Staff are so hepful and friendly, they could not do enough to make us happy. The Hotel ammenities were comprehensive and the buffet breakfast delightful. Its centrally located close to all city sights and the markets. We will definately be back!

+ Fantastic and we loved it!

We stayed for 4 nights, family of 3 adults and 2 young toddlers. We booked Executive Suite Room, checked in on the 10th floor..I must say, I was worth it to stay in one of the Suite rooms, all the people at this hotel are so so nice to us - we loved them! The breakfast, afternoon tea and the light dinner at the Executive floor are AWESOME! 4 nights for our family to stay at the New World hotel were just not enough...wish we could stay longer.

Overall, I must say we love this hotel and definitely will be back (very soon), from the time you walk into the door, the valet guys are always smiling and welcome you, the best of all the Executive floor dinning area....the girls, the guys and the chefs are all SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! they loved our two little ones.

Our room was big (a bit old) but it was ok, there was lots of room for our two little ones, 3 and 2 years old to run around.

So highly recommended!

+ Pretty good hotel for business !

I stayed here for 3 days on a business trip to HCMC, and it is the first time I ave been to the hotel. On first appearance the building exterior is certainly not as luxurious or charming as some other hotels in HCMC, but the hotel itself is very nice (and will be better once they have finished the redecoration work in the lobby area.

The level of service is very good, with all of the staff happy to help and make your stay comfortable. I was impressed by the staffing here for sure.

In terms of the bedrooms, they are simple but nice. Nothing too fancy, just standard hotel rooms that are fine for a business trip. The only slight problem I had was that my room faced over the park area of Le Lai, and noise could be heard from the Catwalk nightclub in the evening and by the public aerobics classes in the park in the morning. I wouldn't say it was a major complaint though.

The only other suggestion I would have is that they should look at providing wi-fi in the standard bedrooms, with free wi-fi in the public spaces. I personally think this should be commonplace in hotels such as this these days.

The room-service food is very good (and fast).

In all, a good hotel that I would stay at again in the future

+ Just a big conference hotel !

For an expensive hotel - the New World is a bit out of the way. It is near Ben Thanh market - but is nit walking distance to the main shopping and hotel district. Reaaly just a huge conference hotel.
