Perfect location in the old city. Great rooms (the junior suites are very good value for money for longer stays and the need for peace and quiet). Nice staff.

We had a great stay at Medallion hotel . Room is new and clean, hotel located right in the heart of the city, service is excellent too. Everything is value for money. Hotel spa and local private tour arranged by them was great too. This was in fact the first time I had eperienced such wonderful service by a hotel.

It's all about the staff at this place! Dong at the reception is great and the GM (american young man) is a fantastic help. The rooms are nice and clean and spacious. The bathroom is nice and has a good shower with endless hot water! The scedule for the cleaners could be a bit better as sometimes they came early morning and other times only late afternoon. Breakfast is really good but do try to get there on time asthe other guests agree that the breakfast is really good ;)
For Vietnam it's not a cheap hotel (rooms going for around $55) but for Hanoi it's the best option for value as everywhere is overpriced and you will get nothing for your money. Splurge in Hanoi and stay at the Medallion.

We stayed for one night at the hotel at the end of a fantastic trip to Vietnam, we also made a trip to halongbay with the agency of the hotel. Rooms are excellent, but we love this hotel because of the staff, young people with a lot of energy and professionalism it was a pleasure to talk with them and to share experiences, you are more than just a guest in the hotel. We talked with the young staff and learned a lot about the Vietnamese life. The stay was just wonderfull.
