+ Cosy hotel with great staff

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a great experience!
The rooms are spacious, however not as big as other sofitel venues we have been to...
Bathrooms are clean and well taken care of. The pool and fitness centre also up to the usual good standards. Wifi is not free and using the business centre is relatively expensive (+/- 4 USD for a printing one page).
One of the best things about this hotel is the staff. Especially the hostesses, front desk and concierges were very friendly and really treated us like family. We absolutely enjoyed coming back to the hotel every day and had a lot of fun in the lobby bar! A unique experience, since most larger hotels seem to have dropped their standards when it comes to personal contact with guests.
All together value for money when it comes to rooms, cleanliness, sleep quality etc. Way above standard service wise, but locationwise not as good as others. We will definitely start using this hotel for business as well!

+ Great Experience

The style of the building is not impressive, but the atmosphere is extraordinary. The location is superb, the view over the city center across the lake is unforgettable. Service is impeccable and even the internal restaurants are good, something you would not expect in a place like Hanoi with plenty of ggod restaurants. A paradise for an European pocket, even with a devalued Euro.

+ Good standard hotel near the west lake

We stayed in the Sofitel Plaza as well as the Sofitel Metropole and in comparison the Metropole is of course the much nicer hotel. But given the cheaper price at the Plaza we were quite happy with our stay there. There is really nothing to complain about. So if you're looking for a clean, convenient and cheaper option the Plaza might be a good choice.+

+ Nice business hotel

It was clean, with impeccable service. Wide spread of breakfast and comfy beds.
