Agree 100% with previous review "Beautiful Butique hotel, great buffet breakfast, excellent position in the Old quarter of Hanoi. The rooms are modern, spacious extremely comfortable."
Stay 4 nights, enjoyed it all. Good staff. Breakfast buffet has a very good selection, although a bit cramped with popular dishes running out and not replaced timelessly.
We mostly ate out but had one evening dinner ( Pizza) - it was excellent.
Location superb.
Will stay again.

Elegant Boutique Hotel, excellent service!

Beautiful Butique hotel, great buffet breakfast, excellent position in the old Quater of Hanoi. The rooms are modern, spacious extremely comfortable.

Great boutique hotel near Old quarter !

I stayed at the Silk Path hotel with my tour group last week (Sep 1-7, 2010) and was very very happy with the accommodations. Rooms were very clean - the single had plenty of space. Fruit and complimentary water are provided every day, which is a nice touch. A light stayed on outside my window until 11pm every night which was a bit irritating but the curtains helped and it didn't ruin my sleep. The breakfast buffet was fantastic - loved the pastry table!. The regular dinner items weren't bad but food out in town is much better, both in taste and price. The staff was super helpful. Location is good - it's about a fifteen minute walk due west from Hoan Kiem Lake and about eight-ten minutes to the cathedral area. For as crazy as the street outside was, the hotel was always super quiet. I know there are cheaper places out there in Hanoi, but I'd totally come back here again.

Very good location, after the daily business you can have a walk in the old centre.
From design its very nice architecture, from the corridors you look into the Old quarter of Hanoi.
Rooms were good and clean, i personally like the marmor bathroom. The room was equiped on 5 star level! Because it was new the bed was still a little bit hard.

Every day they have different food at the great breakfast buffet, so also when you stay longer it will be everyday a discovery. The staf is very polite and friendly.
Prices are very competitive, for this service level you normally pay much more. So try the hotel as soon as you can otherwise they will be known and overbooked and rise the prices.
