This ride probably offers the best sampling of single track downhill riding in the Dalat area. The total ride distance is about 30 kilometers and it is the easiest of our rides. Views are outstanding throughout with beautiful pine forested hills, Dankia Lake and picturesque small farms dotting the valleys you ride through.
Take one hour driving from Dalat city to the trekking point, Easy and moderate trek through Pine Forest and Jungle, Climbing to summit of Pinhatt, Camping in forest beside Tuyen Lam Lake, more trekking for second day to Ethnic minority village. Average trek is to 4- 5 hours a day
Langbiang Mountain, the highest peak from Dalat to the South of Vietnam. Trek from the base 1,450m (4,850f) to the summit 2,169m (7,000f). Pass vegetable farm, woods and rain forest. Enjoy the commanding view of the highlands. (From which, in a clear day, is possibly visible to see the South China Sea). Then visiting Lat village – the indigenous people of Dalat with their rich culture, long houses, and weavings.
This trip is not too hard but still definitely rewarding. Walk through the pine forest, coffee and persimmon plantations, up to Holy Cross hill to enjoy the panoramic view of Tuyen Lam Lake. Experience trekking through the thick jungle. The ride to Meditation Pagoda at the end of the trek is a lovely way to complete a fantastic day.
